Jazeera University is a private university in Mogadishu, established in 2004. It offers one of the broadest program ranges among Somalia's universities, spanning medicine and surgery, dentistry, health sciences, engineering, computer science, business and economics, agriculture, veterinary medicine, and education. Guided by its motto, "Excellence Through Education," Jazeera trains students across nine faculties for careers in both medical and technical fields.
SIMAD University is a private university in Mogadishu, established in 1999, making it one of the longer-running private universities in the country. Its nine faculties cover medicine and health sciences, computing, management, accountancy, economics, education, social sciences, engineering, and law — with programs ranging from digital marketing and entrepreneurship to architecture and international relations.
